Year End Gift
Letter
Pledge Card
King County, WA
(October 30, 2007) – Three hundred people attended the Rainer
Christian Schools Fall Banquet, held Friday, October 26, 2007, at
Grace Community Church in Auburn. Leading up to and throughout the
evening, $150,000 was gifted and pledged for the 2007-2008 school
year, hurtling RCS out of the starting blocks towards their goal
of raising $750,000 by June 30, 2008.
Special guest speaker Darrell Scott
delivered a compelling message borne out of Rachel Scott’s (his
daughter) death in the Columbine High School tragedy. Mr. Scott
artfully orchestrated a montage of excerpts from Rachel’s diaries,
media clips, and testimony from family and friends that illuminated
hope and encouragement as virtues to be nurtured and cultivated in
the lives of our children and youth.
Following Mr. Scott’s message,
Superintendent Blair Bryant reinforced to guests what is, and will
always be, at the heart of Rainier Christian Schools—a people and a
ministry that is educating and developing the WHOLE child for the
glory of God.
There was no doubt, at night’s end,
that weaving hope and encouragement into an outstanding
educational experience provides unlimited prospects to our children
and what they can and will accomplish with their lives.
With more than 825 students, at
five different campuses throughout South King County, Rainier
Christian Schools is uniquely positioned to provide an outstanding
Christian education to its students, their families and the
