Discipline

Our disciplinary goal is to teach the children to be accountable for their own behavior, and to respect the rights of others.  We feel that teaching a child to be self-disciplined is a responsibility which must be shared by the school and the home.  In order for our students to not only learn, but practice accountability, the teacher, administration and parent must have full and complete support for one another.

We want discipline to be a learning experience.  Good discipline procedures are an essential part of the teacher’s responsibility.  It is important that the teacher handle as much discipline as possible within the classroom.

  • Discipline shall be fair, reasonable, consistent and related to the individual's behavior.

  • It is vitally important to the welfare of our students that discipline be handled with love.

  • Children will be handled with kindness, love and respect at all times

The administration will serve as an additional resource to assist the teacher to enforce God’s rules as well as school rules.
