Parent - Teacher Relations
An open line of communication between parent and teacher is vital to the educational and spiritual progress of the child.  A parent who is unhappy with a situation in the classroom gives opportunity for an un-Christ-like spirit to develop.  The same is true with a teacher who fails to understand the position or concern of a parent.

Parents and teachers are urged to utilize the Matthew 18 principle in communication, especially when a misunderstanding is a potential problem.  Go to the teacher and discuss the situation.  If the problem cannot be resolved or if the parent so desires, the next step is to go to the school administrator.  If resolution still is not possible, the situation will be taken to the school board.  Generally, the school board will be the final step for resolution of the problem.
