PTF Parent/Teacher Fellowship (PTF) promotes communication between the school and parents. During these meetings you will be able to see some of the school projects, talk with other parents and gain valuable insights into what is going on at school in Christian education. Each class may present a program during the school year at PTF meetings. PTF is overseen by an elected or appointed president and vice-president who are parents. They work under the supervision of the administrator and are answerable to both the parents and administration. PTF is a parent group, COME BE A PART OF IT! HOST Hours The "Help Our School Triumph" (HOST) Program at Maple Valley Elementary was established in 1999 by the Parent/Teacher Fellowship (PTF) council. The program has an historical background: to encourage parental involvement in education. By building on the foundation laid by the parents who have come before, our school continues to strive for excellence. The HOST program will continue to ask a minimum 15 hour commitment from each family enrolled at the school. Donations of acceptable durable goods (i.e. computers printers, software, paint, etc) will be credited at a rate of 1 hour per $10 in goods received. Opportunities for service: Work parties, maintenance, cleaning, classroom or recess help, PTF or school board service, at home help (grading or collation papers for teachers), and helping with our hot lunch or Friday snack programs - are just a few!
